Okay, its been around half a year since i last cared about my blog. Now, though, I have finally remembered to post SOMETHING to it. Well, its that time of year again, where the losers with no life are seperated from the losers with no life who bring a girlfriend along. Thats right PROM. And i currently have nobody to go with, and i probably never will. Of course, i could simply ask somebody beforehand so as to avoid embarassment (not that i give a flip about my reputation) and ridicule at Prom, which is still a good month away. Asking someone to attend with you for the sheer publicity is a little foolish, especially of someone of my super-intelligent, uh, ness, but, when it comes to Prom, you gotta learn to throw caution to the wind (well, i should talk like ive been there before: I havent). Also worrying me is my improving, but still mentally crippling, Pre-cal and Physics classes. They're almost over, but both, especially physics, have more than have enough potential to ruin my average for the year. Sucks is all i have to say. Since i havent posted here in so long, lemme just wrap up whats happened in the last half year
1. I got a DS for Christmas (I bought Advance Wars, and I also got Castlevania for Christmas)
2. I subscribed to Gamefly and rented any current gen game my pitiful human mind could possibly imagine.
3. I passed the written driving test and got my permit (look out world!!!)
3 1/2. I washed my iPod mini. Thats right, i left it in my pocket and wooosh! Washed. However, i got it partially fixed somewhere ( for free, haha), although some features are a little wonky now (the backlighting, in particular, will come on for 2 seconds if i merely touch the scroll wheel. weird.)
4. My arch-nemisis, Jordan Foster, beat my at UIL, winning first place in Feature writing and me not winning anything (sickining i know). The thing that pisses me off here is, while this may sound snobby, I know im a better writer than he is. I have no doubt in my mind. However, the events they have at UIL (that i have tried) simply DO NOT cater to my style, and i end up totally sucking at the news writing (thats all feature writing is, writing a story for a newspaper with quotes, etc.). Call it an excuse if you will, i certainly dont blame you, because i know it sounds like im trying to make excuses.
5. We got rid of 2 of our six dogs (thats.....................................2/6................which is..................A THIRD, I GOT IT I FRICKIN GOT IT HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!) the Rocky, mutt, and Tinker (i didnt name her), our stupid Border Collie who tries to herd anything that moves (and anything that doesnt, for that matter). I wont miss Tinker.
Thats really all i can think of. My life has been relatively uneventful in the last 6 or 7 months. This summer, tho, things will really heat up, and ill be posting here ALOT, ill also post to tell alllll about Prom and whether or not i got a date.
